Redcliffe Tri Club
Founded in 1990
Redcliffe, which is a little seaside town north of Brisbane. Our members live from the northern suburbs of Brisbane to Caboolture and Bribie Island and inland to Dayboro. A lot of our training is based in North Lakes as it is central to where everyone lives and has a pool we can use all year.
We are a not for profit voluntary community sporting club, with a focus on providing coached training sessions to suit all ages and abilities from unfit parents of our juniors who would like to get active and involved all the way to top age groupers wanting to qualify for world champs in all distances.
We receive support from our local council the Moreton Bay Regional Council plus our club sponsors- The Run Inn, Entire Health, Avantiplus North Brisbane, ASICS, Endura, The Coffee Club North Lakes and Jetts Fitness.
We currently have 344 members, about 90 are juniors.
Our junior program is run by the current TQ Junior Coach of the Year and provides 10 sessions per week and these can be paid monthly or by session.
For the adults, we have eight level one triathlon coaches who deliver eight swim sessions, four bike sessions and four run sessions per week plus a brick and open water session most weekends there is not a race on. We usually hold monthly TT for swimming, riding and running as well. About half of our sessions have no charge and the other half have a four or five dollar fee paid to the coach, plus pool entry of course.

We run one club race a year, the Moreton Bay Grand Prix, a duathlon at Lakeside International Raceway on June 14. Check out our website for more info http://redcliffetriclub.com/

The Redcliffe Tri Club is a family focused club with the aim of improving the health of our local community by the encouragement of a healthy lifestyle. We are well known at most Queensland triathlons for our very vocal support of each other and total strangers who look like they need some encouragement.
